Lori's Surgery

The surgery was successful; they removed the tumor. They sent it to be biopsied and they said it was big (whatever that means). She should be moved from the ICU tomorrow. They said she could be in the hospital for a week. We are hoping she'll be home by the weekend.

She is in pretty good spirits but the medication and lack of food is causing dizziness and nausea. The doctor came in while I was there today and said to the nurse, "Have her drink more, eat more and quit giving her so much medication!"

A friend from church, who is also a nurse, came by after her shift today so that meant a lot to Lori as well. She is in good hands; she needs to rest and recover.

The home front is going well thanks to the team here keeping use well fed and asking how we are doing.

Thanks for your prayers and support (in this case emotional, but if you want to send money...feel free:-)

I'm glad things went well!

Hello

Glad you made it to our blog. We finally did! We want to keep the information flowing - not for information sake but in order to further our relationship. That's a two-way street so let us in on your world too. Have a great day.
