5th in the Nation
The National Lace making competion is held each year in Idrija Slovenia. It is a beautiful little village in the Alps. Meagan recieved first place in her school competition which allowed her to compete nationally. As they announced that there were competetors from all over the country, I wanted to shout out, "And America". I doubt there have been very many American's in this competition. This year she placed 5th in her category, and recieved a silver metal for the number of points that she received. Good Job Meagan! My little Slovene girl.

Meagan, you did it again. You have done so well in the Slovene culture, learning their language, learning some of their skills and art work, plus making good grades and friends. You are commended.
